What Is Modern Jive

Modern Jive is a lead and follow partner dance.   It is extremely stylish and can be danced almost anywhere. It has it's origins in French Jive "Leroc" which encompasses a wide range of other dance styles and techniques including salsa, tango, cha cha cha and many more. It is a constantly evolving dance form popular with all ages.

Modern Jive is easy to learn. In your very first lesson you can learn three to four moves so you can start enjoying it very quickly without having to practice boring exercises.

Modern Jive is so flexible musically that you can dance it to your own favorite music. Jukebox-jive clubs play a wide range of music, from the latest club hits to the classics of big band swing and rock 'n' roll.
